Government shouldn't spend even one rupee on religion: Owaisi

AIMIM Chief Asaduddun Owaisi came into light after expressing his disagreement over the news of probability Prime Minister attending the Bhumi Poojan on Aug 5th in Ayodhya. according to Owaisi, Prime Minister's visit to Ayodhya will not send the right message, it will not send a message of fairness.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be attended by a number of ministers including the proponents of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. Including various leaders like Uddhav Thackrey and veteran BJP leaders LK Advani, MM Joshi, Uma Bharti, Vinay Katiyar, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.  

He said that the government should not spend even one rupee on any religion. Secularism is associated with the spirit of the country. Secularism is not a currency that should be discontinued. Owaisi did not specifically target a single party as he continued, Congress also had a role in demolishing Babri Masjid. Mud should also be sent from the Congress offices to the Ram temple.

Owaisi in his claim specified that there is no problem in Narendra Modi's visit to the Ram Mandir Ceremony as a personal. He talked about how Modi's visit as a PM of India doesn't give out the right message. Moreover, no LIVE or any media coverage should be given as this will depict that the Prime Minister is a supporter of one particular faith.
