शहर के कचरे, सीवेज, और देखरेख के आभाव में अन्नपूर्णा तालाब की स्थिति लगातार खराब होती गई। तालाब की स्थिति ऐसी बिगड़ी की यहां की मछलियां मरने लगीं। अब इस तालाब को फिर से जीवित करने की जद्दोजहद की जा रही है।

Neglect due to untreated garbage, sewage, and a lack of maintenance led to the lake's severe degradation, even causing fish deaths. Now, efforts are underway to restore the lake's health and revive its ecosystem.
