Symptoms of Omicron Variant: The Omicron variant of covid 19 is causing panic across the world. Scientists are busy gathering information about this variant as soon as possible. According to Chief executive of South Africa-based Discovery Health, Ryan Noach, scratchy throat is an early symptom of Omicron variant.

How this variant is different?

The WHO's latest data suggests the variant - first detected in South Africa in November - can better evade existing vaccines and carries a higher risk of re-infection.
