Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina and famous singer Guru Randhawa among 34 others were arrested in Mumbai for partying with some celebrities and later Raina and Guru Randhawa were released on bail.
Many big Bollywood celebrities, including Raina, are accused of breaking the rules of the Covid-19 curfew in Mumbai at night.

Raina has now presented his clarification on this issue. Suresh Raina's managing team has issued a statement stating that this star cricketer has not intentionally broken the covid-19 protocol.
He was not aware of these rules and protocol issued in Mumbai. He was arrested after a raid at the Mumbai's Dragonfly club near the Mumbai airport.
Raina's management team in a statement said that the player had been unaware of the rules and restrictions, and "regrets" the "unintentional incident". "Suresh was in Mumbai for a shoot which extended to late hours and was invited by a friend for a quick dinner post the same prior to him taking his flight back to Delhi.
He was not aware of the local timings and protocols," the statement read. "Once pointed out, he immediately complied with the procedures laid out by the authorities and regrets the unfortunate and unintentional incident. He always holds rules and laws laid down by governing bodies with the highest regard and will continue to do so in the future as well."

Mumbai Police said that 34 people including cricketer Suresh Raina and others were booked under Section 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (whoever unlawfully or negligently does any act which is, and which he knows or has reason to believe to be, likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life), 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC and provisions of NMDA.
