‘Someone took away bird’s nest, but sky is open’: Ravish After resignation

After resigning from India's famous TV channel NDTV, senior journalist Ravish Kumar released a video message from his social media handle. In the video, he said, "There was never a golden era of journalism in India, but it was also not a bhasm era like today's era, in which every good thing about the journalism profession is being consumed."

Criticizing the current state of the media, he said, "Godi media and the government also want to impose their own meaning of journalism on you. At this point in time, I will not say anything specific about my institution because you cannot remain neutral in sentimentality. 26 in NDTV. There are many wonderful memories in NDTV, which will now be useful for telling stories.

"I have received something or the other from everyone, I am grateful to everyone. It would not be fair to mention one and leave the rest. When a daughter leaves, she looks back at her maternal home in the distance. I am in the same situation."

Started the journey by sorting letters

Referring to his beginning in NDTV, Ravish Kumar said that he formally joined NDTV in August 1996 as a translator, but before that, he worked as a sorter for a long time.

He told, "When I went among you, I did not return home. I did not stay with myself. Maybe now I will get some time to be with myself. This evening is such an evening that the bird cannot see its nest. Maybe someone else His nest was taken away. But an open sky is definitely visible in front of him.

He further said- Even if he sorted the letters, he should not be sympathized with because I am not like those who talk about selling tea and get off the plane. I do not want to do this to make my struggle great.

He said, "The world kept changing in front of me, I remained like a Test match player. But now someone has finished the match itself. It has been converted into T-20. There are also countries. If they claim that they want to convey the right information to you, then it means that by keeping dollars in their pockets, they want to put chavanni in your pocket.

He urged his audience to fight back and free themselves from the shackles of Godi media. He stated that if the Godi media does not object, all future journalists will be forced to perform Dalali.

Dalali, which literally means "brokerage," is a derogatory term for people who cater to the powers of interest under the guise of their professional responsibilities. Ravish frequently used the term "Godi media" to designate a number of Indian news outlets that he says serve as lapdogs for the government's narrative.
