A new strain of corona virus has been found in six people who returned to India from Britain in the last few weeks. The new strain is more contagious and many countries of the world are worried about it. Due to this many countries have to seal their borders as well.

All six patients have been kept separate, the health ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the passengers accompanying them were being tracked.

The ministry said, "People in contact with them have also been quarantined."

The ministry said that India has suspended all flights from the UK till the end of the month, but since the end of November, about 33,000 passengers have arrived in India.

The Union Health Ministry today said on Tuesday that the redesign of the virus (Kovid-19 strain) was detected in samples tested for screening at NIMHANS in Bangalore, CCMB in Hyderabad and NIV in Pune.

The ministry said that the state governments have kept all these people in separate habitat chambers in the identified health care centers and the people in contact with them have also been kept in separate houses. 

It is to be noted here that the redesign of the virus first found in Britain has also been found in Denmark, Holland, Australia, Italy, Sweden, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Japan, Lebanon and Singapore.

From what has been revealed about this new strain so far, it is clear that this new form of covid-19 is quite deadly and fatal. This new form of the virus is said to be 70 percent more contagious.

However, health experts say that there is no concrete evidence that it is more life-threatening or that it will react differently to the vaccine.
