Ground Report | New Delhi: Shiv Sena's reply to Javed Akhtar; The statement comparing Taliban and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is still not leaving Bollywood's famous lyricist Javed Akhtar. Now Maharashtra's ruling party Shiv Sena has supported the RSS in the editorial of its mouthpiece 'Saamana' .

In the editorial titled 'There will be differences about the Sangh, however...' in Saamana, several arguments have been made defending the RSS and disproving the views of Javed Akhtar.

Shiv Sena has written that India is tolerant in every way, so it is not fair to compare it with Taliban.

In the editorial published in Saamna it has been asked that those who support the concept of 'Hindu Rashtra' are of Taliban mentality, how can it be said?

According to the editorial, the Taliban only wants to establish Sharia power in Afghanistan, while the concept of organizations involved in trying to make India a Hindu nation is benign.

According to the article, any kind of hysteria about Hindutva is not acceptable in India.

Shiv Sena's reply to Javed Akhtar

In the past, neither the Shiv Sena nor the RSS supported the religious frenzy that flared up over the beef episode and the people who became victims of mob violence due to this whole episode.

Countries like Pakistan and China have supported the rule of Taliban because there is no value of human rights, democracy, individual liberty in these two countries. The mentality of India is not looking like that.

We (people of India) are utterly tolerant in every way. Some people may be trying to bring dictatorship under the guise of 'burqa of democracy', yet they have their limits.

Had the ideology of the Sangh or Shiv Sena been that of Taliban, there would not have been a law against triple talaq in this country and millions of Muslim women would not have seen the ray of freedom.

Despite being a majority Hindu in India, this country is still standing waving the flag of secularism.

It is their reasonable expectation that the majority of Hindus should not be continuously suppressed.
