The father of former JNU student Shehla Rashid has accused him of treason. After this, Shehla also made serious allegations against the father. She said that father Abdul Rashid Shora himself is corrupt and used to beat his mother.
In a tweet, Shehla said his father Abdul Rashid Shoura was barred from going to the house in the domestic violence case by the Munsiff Court of Srinagar from October.
The people of the house had filed a complaint of domestic violence against Abdul Rashid. Now Abdul Rashid has written a letter to Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh, accusing his daughter Shehla Rashid of taking three crore rupees from a Kashmiri businessman.

In a letter to Dilbag Singh, Abdul Rashid has said that his life is in danger from Shehla Rashid, elder daughter Asma Rashid, wife Zubeida and security guard Saqib Ahmed.
Abdul Rashid has demanded bodyguards for his safety and said that the police should intervene to let them into his house. Abdul Rashid has demanded a check of his daughter's bank account and email. They have demanded an inquiry into the alleged financial transactions from Firoz Pirzada, Zahur Vatali and Engineer Rashid.
