All the hospitals have been instructed to keep 40 percent doses of the vaccine for appointments and 60 percent for direct hospitalists.

Like the first phase, both vaccines, the serum institute's covishield and Bharat Biotech's covaxin, will be used in this phase. You will not be allowed to choose which vaccine to take. Only after arriving at the vaccination center, you will know which vaccine will be applied. The vaccine will be available in 10,000 government and around 20,000 private hospitals.
