Samsung! Lowest selling smartphone this year in a decade

This year did not prove to be good for the popular smartphone maker Samsung. According to the news coming from South Korea, this year the company's sales have been the lowest in a decade. According to a report by GizChina, the company has shipped less than 30 crore devices this time, which is the first time in 9 years. A major reason for this is also the corona epidemic, which has affected almost all companies.

The report states that Samsung's total shipments by the end of the third quarter were 18.9 million units and the yearly total shipments are approaching 27 million. These figures are obviously quite low, although this has been the case with other companies. The company is set to make a comeback in 2021.

Samsung is going to bring many 5G smartphones next year. Apart from this, the company will also be preparing to bring a foldable phone at an 'affordable' price. Next year, the company plans to ship 307 million mobile phones. Of these, 287 million will be smartphones, while the remaining feature phones will remain.

According to the new Galaxy S21 series
report on 14 January, the company is going to bring the new Galaxy S21 series on 14 January. Under the series, three models Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra will be launched. The special thing is that this time the company is going to bring the Note series S-Pen support feature in the most premium Ultra model. There is also speculation that the note series will be discontinued after this.

Xiaomi's Number One

International Data Corporation (IDC) quarterly mobile phone tracker report in India has revealed that Xiaomi is the number one company in the Indian market.

In the third quarter of 2020, Xiaomi shipped 1.35 crore units to India. On the other hand, Samsung has made a shipment of about 12.1 million units in India. Vivo is at number three in the list, Realme at fourth and Oppo at fifth.
