RRB Group D: Why there is a protest to release the waiting list?

The railway aspirants are furious and started a massive agitation on social media demanding the release of the waiting list for the Railway Group D Recruitment 2019 and increasing the number of vacancies by 1.03 lakh. The candidates demand that the Railway Recruitment Board hold the exam immediately.

The Railway Recruitment Board RRB announced the vacancy of 1,03,769 seats in 2019, and the board has yet to conduct all examinations and declare the results. Many candidates sat for the exam at the beginning of 2020, but their results were stopped due to corona fear.

More than 1 crore of candidates applied for railway recruitment in March 2019. Many candidates have passed the upper age limit and are now ineligible for the exam.

One of the candidates said that 'the selection of railway apprentices (CCAA) up to 50% of the reserved positions for the OBC, SC, ST, EWS categories in the result of the 2019 Railway Group D Recruitment Level 1 exam is unconstitutional.

He added "this is against the reserve rule. If RRC had to award 50 per cent of the seats to CCAA candidates, then on what basis were average candidates called three times in PET? So RRC should have three-summoned only 50 per cent".

To show their outrage against the government, the students took to Twitter and trended #JusticeForRailway demanding justice for their hard work.

Under the Railway Apprenticeship Program, young people are trained from time to time so that they can learn the skills to work. These young people who have received training are called apprentices. In the 2018 Railway Recruitment, 1,288 Apprentices were hired in Group D positions.
