Ground Report | New Delhi: Rohit Sharma captain; The team has been announced for the Twenty20 series between India and New Zealand starting on November 17. According to the BCCI, the selectors have handed over the command of the team to the fast opener Rohit Sharma, he will replace Virat Kohli.

Kohli had announced that he will not captain the team in this format after the Twenty20 World Cup. In the Twenty20 World Cup, the Indian team had to face defeat against Pakistan and New Zealand and the team could not make it to the semi-finals. Virat Kohli has been rested.
