Ground Report | New Delhi: Republic TV with Taliban; Arnab Goswami, co-founder, and anchor of Republic TV, is again in controversy this time he used the hashtag Republic with Taliban, for which social media users demand action against Republic Tv.
In its controversial tweet, Now has been deleted, Republic TV used a hashtag that indicated the TV channel's support for the Taliban. Republic TV wrote in its tweet, "#RepublicWithTaliban."
As the Taliban recaptured the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, after two decades of violent fighting. Militants have called the country an “Islamic Emirate” while thousands have tried to flee the city. President Ashraf Ghani hastily left the presidential palace and fled.
Amid the Crisis in Afghanistan, Republic Tv used the hashtag #RepublicWithTaliban. Now Several netizens have demanded that the Police take action against Republic TV for showing support with the Taliban.

Twitter user Rabiul Hassan Wrote "Assam Police arrest 14 people, including one MBBS student, for supporting Taliban on social media Why should not Arnab Goswami and the entire team of republic TV be arrested for openly supporting and promoting the Taliban regime on national TV.

"Those who celebrated attack on our Brave Jawans in Pulwama are today openly supporting Talibani in Afghanistan. Tomorrow, they could be celebrating terror attack on us, because they are totally controlled by the radical forces", another user said.

Another user said "Please take action against the news channel who motivate crores of people of india to support Taliban by hastag #RepublicWithTaliban Please make inquiry against them to find truth.
"First they write #RepublicWithTaliban. Then they say it's a typo and they meant to write #RepublicWithAfghans. What a bunch of bigots they are! And idiots too!" another user said.
