Ground Report | New Delhi: Rape case filed; Mumbai Police has registered a case of rape against Bhushan Kumar, MD of T-Series Company. Bhushan Kumar is the son of T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar.

According to news agencies, Bhushan Kumar is accused of raping a 30-year-old woman by luring her to work in a T-Series project. The case has been registered against Bhushan Kumar in DN Nagar police station which is located in Andheri (West) area.

According to the police, the woman had given her complaint against Bhushan Kumar in the police station. The woman has also alleged that Bhushan Kumar had threatened her to make her pictures and videos viral. The woman claims that Bhushan Kumar was sexually abusing her for the last three years.

According to the police, a case has been registered against Bhushan Kumar under sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), and 506 of the IPC. (Rape case filed)

According to local media reports, such allegations have been made against Bhushan Kumar even before this. During the MeToo movement, model Marina Kanwar also accused Bhushan Kumar of sexual abuse.

T-Series is a major music brand of Super Cassettes Industries which was founded by Gulshan Kumar, popularly known as 'Cassette King' who was shot dead by some criminals in the year 1997.

The news has sparked a lot of speculation online. However, the general opinion is that nothing will happen even if Kumar is convicted as he is a rich personality and with time people will forget the case.
