Roza (Fast) is usually 15 hours in India. After seven o'clock in the evening, the time comes to open Roza. But there are also countries where the sun does not exist and fasting is to be kept for 20 to 22 hours.

Iceland - 22 hours

For the Muslims of Iceland, the time of sehri is only till two o'clock in the night. After that, they cannot eat or drink anything in fasting. Their Roza opens at 12 o'clock at night. Only 770 Muslims live in Iceland.

Sweden - 20 hours

Roza is also not small in Sweden. Ramadan is 20 hours long when it falls in summer. Muslims are about 5 percent of the total population of Sweden, ie about half a million people. There are 16 mosques in important cities of Sweden.

Alaska - 19.45 hours

There are about 3000 Muslims living in the US state of Alaska. The length of fasting for Muslims there is 19 hours and sometimes even more. But many people open Roza here at the time of Saudi Arabia, that is, around 7 o'clock in the evening.

Germany - 19 hours

There are millions of Muslims living in Germany. Most of the Muslims living here are of Turkic and North African descent. Roza for them is about 19 hours long, from 3:30 in the morning to 10 in the night. Like Muslims living in other countries, here too, after opening Roza, Muslims offer prayers of Tarawih.

England - 18.55 hours

The Muslim community of Britain has advised to be very cautious about health during Ramadan in 2015. The reason is long fast, if not taken care of properly, health can go awry. 

Especially this advice has been given for the old and people struggling with the problem of high blood sugar. According to a report published in the Guardian, out of the 27 lakh Muslims living in Britain, 3.25 lakh have diabetes.

Canada - 17.7 hours

The Roza, which started at three in the morning, is 17.7 hours long for those living in Canada. There are currently about 1 million Muslims in Canada, most of whom live in Toronto. It is the city with the largest Muslim population in North America.

Turkey - 17.5 hours
