PUBG is back in India with a new name, PUBG's main company Krafton has announced Battlegrounds Mobile India for the Indian market on Thursday.
The Royal Battle game will get exclusive in-game outfits and features along with premium, AAA multiplayer gaming experience.
Battlegrounds Mobile India will come with its own e-sport ecosystem, which will include tournaments and leagues.

Battlegrounds Mobile India will release with exclusive in-game events like outfits and features and will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. The game will launch as a free-to-play experience on mobile devices,” said Krafton in a press release.
“Krafton will collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later,” said the company.
Additionally, Crafton has also released a video teaser of Battlegrounds Mobile India , which looks very much like PUBG Mobile.

What will be special in battlegrounds mobile India
The tricolor theme will be seen in its logo, which will attract Indian mobile gamers. The company said, 'Krafton will partner with partners to develop the e-sport ecosystem.
The game will come with India-centric in-game events and information will be given soon. The company has also said that all the data and storage collected by the game, will be done following the rules in India.
The company has also released a motion poster on YouTube, uploaded by YouTube channel Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Explain that the company has given this information in the context of the decision taken regarding the data privacy and security of the government.
It is worth noting that the Government of India has banned PubG Mobile and PubG Mobile Lite in India for data and privacy reasons. The game was banned in India in September last year.
