The husband and brother-in-law of the woman posted in Delhi Police were suspended in December 2018. However, the police had said there was no connection between his suspension and the woman's allegations. But later both were reinstated in June 2019.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee and former election commissioner Ashok Lavasa, election strategist Prashant Kishor, Union ministers Ashwini Vaishnav and Prahlad Patel have been accused of spying on mobile phones, according to a list released in connection with Pegasus spying. is suspected. The numbers have also been revealed.

The Congress party held a press conference in this regard late on Monday evening, accusing the ruling party of demanding the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah and demanding an inquiry into the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this espionage case. Digital news platform The Wire is one of the 16 media organizations that have released this report related to 'spying of numbers'.

Rahul Gandhi also been included in the list

The mobile numbers of at least five close friends of Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders have also been included in the list of possible people who were either spied on or targeted. According to the report of The Wire, even in the middle of 2019, the numbers of two close friends of Rahul Gandhi, Alankar Sawai, and Sachin Rao, were spied on. (Pegasus Spy case)

According to The Guardian, of one of these 16 media outlets, the presence of a phone number in the database does not confirm that the device concerned was or was to be spied on. Apart from this, the name of election strategist Prashant Kishor is also appearing in this alleged leaked list. According to The Wire, an attempt was made to attack Prashant Kishor's phone Pegasus in the year 2018, but could not succeed.

Apart from this, others whose phones were reportedly selected for surveillance include the names of Jagdeep Chokhar, virologist Dr. Gagandeep Kang and India head of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Hari Menon. Forbidden Stories and Amnesty International first discovered a leaked global database of 50,000 telephone numbers, which they shared with 16 media organizations around the world.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan also has a number in this alleged list, which he once used. Spyware can secretly unlock phones, computers or other devices, collect information and transfer it to another device without the user's permission.
