The BJP urged the Election Commission, chief election officer of the state and officers of Jammu-Poonch and Baramulla seats to slap the slogans in support of Pakistan, to give the loan disqualified for the election. He has also sent viral videos on social media for sloganeering in support of loan pak. With this, the BJP has also complained to the Bank of Biksh Nagar police station for lodging a case of sedition against Lone.
Rajendra Sharma, in-charge of BJP corporate and BJP’s election affairs from Janipur of Jammu, lodged a complaint with Bakhshinagar police station to register FIR against NC candidate from Baramulla seat.
He insisted on lodging a case of loot against Lone. Rajendra said that he has also complained to the DC and Election Commission of Jammu that with the cancellation of the loan nomination, the validity of the NC’s nominee can also be canceled.
Meanwhile, the state BJP demanded action against the loan in the party headquarters. Party spokesman Ashwani Kumar Charanguu insisted that the Election Commission should take action against Mohammed Akbar Lone, trying to distort the electoral atmosphere of the state from his country’s rhetoric. He said that it is shameful that Akbar Lone, who has been Speaker of the Assembly with the oath taking the Constitution, has been promoting anti-national ideology.
Meanwhile, in Kashmir, BJP spokesman Altaf Thakur also wrote a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer of the state. In the letter, he said that loan is insulting the nation through his speeches. He is slamming slogans of Pakistan’s freedom fighters in the speeches, which not only causes the feelings of the people of Jammu and Kashmir but also the feelings of the entire countrymen. He wrote that many videos are viral on the Pakistan pro-slogan by Mohammad Akbar Lone on social media. They should be taken care of.
Meanwhile, BJP candidate MM War from Baramulla-Kupwara seat submitted the nomination papers to the office of District Election Officer in Baramulla after registering an FIR against the NC candidate.
*Lone had said, if someone scolded the Pak then I will shoot him:*
During his election rally in northern Kashmir, Mohammad Akbar Lone had said that there is a Muslim country across the LOC and he should always be happy. We must have strong friendship with them. If someone will abuse Pakistan, then I will give ten times more abuses to him.
Akbar Lone dares BJP
A day after state unit of the BJP filed an application for disqualification of National Conference leader Mohammed Akbar Lone as poll constant from Baramulla Lok Sabha constituency Akbar Lone hit back at BJP a king it file an FIR against him for shouting “Pro-Pakistan” slogans.
Lone said, “He would defend article 370 and article 35-A in Parliament. “National Conference stands for resolution of Kashmir issue and we will strive hard for its resolution,” he said.
Controversies that have arisen before
Mohammad Akbar Lone, in February last year, had also slapped slogans of Pakistan Zindabad while expressing an outrage over the slogans of Pakistan Mudadabad by BJP MLAs in the Assembly. In December 2017, Lone had also raised a big controversy by accusing BJP and PDP leaders of eating beef together.
Omar said, raise my blood pressure
National Conference Vice President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said in Kunjar (Tangmarg) on Monday that without mentioning the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad imposed by party candidate Mohammad Akbar Lone, Akbar Lone is a honest and heartless person. He only says what is in his heart. He is not a fighter, not a naughty.
Omar said I have only one candidate in North Kashmir, but she often raises my blood pressure. That candidate is none other than Akbar Lone. Omar asked the people to vote for the same candidate, who fought for the protection of special status of Jammu and Kashmir in the Parliament, which you fought for the rights and identity of the people.
Lone says – not once, ten times I will sing Zindabad slogan:
Mohammed Akbar Lone, who contested from Baramulla constituency, said that I would not slogan once more ten times Pakistan Zindabad. If BJP and RSS have the courage, then register an FIR against me and show them. In an interview after an election rally in Tangmarg, he said that I am not afraid of anyone’s threat. I have a wrong thing Have not.
I am not afraid of any FIR. For us, Section 370, Article 35A and the specific political identity of the principals are the most important. After becoming a lawmaker, I will fight for the protection of Article 370, 35 A in Parliament, what Kashmiri wants, it will linger in Parliament. The National Conference seeks a solution to the Kashmir issue and we will make every effort to resolve it.
