Yogi's statement of 'Abbajan'
In fact, on Monday 13 September, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had accused the earlier governments of appeasement during a rally in Kushinagar. He had said that the BJP government gave toilets and rations to every poor without any discrimination.
Yogi said, "Was this ration available even before 2017? ... Because then those who called Abbajan used to digest the ration. Then the ration of Kushinagar used to reach Nepal, it used to reach Bangladesh." He said, "Now no one will swallow the ration of the poor...then they will not be able to swallow the ration, but will go to jail."
After his 'Abbajan' statement, the rounds of political accusations and counter-accusations have started.
