Nusrat Jahan shuts down questions on her baby’s father

Ground Report | New Delhi: Nusrat Jahan shuts down; Nusrat Jahan, an MP and actress of Bengali films, attended an event for the first time after becoming a mother. Nusrat Jahan gave birth to a son on August 25 at a private hospital.

After this, 15 days later, the actress attended the inauguration program of a salon where she was asked many questions about the father of the child and her personal life.

When a reporter asked Nusrat about her 'better half', she replied, "I think it is a vague question to ask and casts a dark spot on one's character as a woman, Who is the father. She further added that 'Father knows who the father is and we are doing a great fatherhood together right now.' Nushrat also mentioned that motherhood 'feels great'. "It's a new life, it feels like a new beginning," also reveals that her son's name was Yishaan. (Nusrat Jahan shuts down)

Since the news of Nusrat's pregnancy came out, her name was being linked with her so-called boyfriend Yash Dasgupta. At the same time, her husband Nikhil Jain had even said that this child is not theirs as they were not living together for 6 months.

At the same time, when Nusrat was in the hospital at the time of delivery, Yash Das was also there with her.

On a related note, Nushrat's estranged husband Nikhil Jain wished her after the birth of their son, despite their 'differences' with her. According to PTI, he had said, "I want the child to have a bright future."

Nusrat Jahan and Nikhil Jain got married on 19 June 2019 in a private wedding ceremony in Turkey after dating for some time. Both have separated since November 2020. In 2021, Nusrat said in a statement that her marriage with Nikhil was not valid under Indian laws.
