Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reaching the capital Dhaka on a two-day visit to Bangladesh on Friday. The Prime Minister's visit is taking place at a time when there is increasing frustration in Bangladesh over bilateral relations with India.

The Prime Minister will attend the celebrations to mark the completion of 50 years of Bangladesh's independence. Apart from this, he will participate in the program to be held on the 100th birth anniversary of Bangladesh President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Foreign Minister Advisor to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during the visit of the Prime Minister of India to Bangladesh, Gauhar Rizvi said in a special conversation with the Indian Express that his country does not believe in establishing relations with China at the cost of its most important neighbor India.

Gauhar Rizvi said, "Bangladesh does not have such a relationship with China that it affects its relations with India."

He said that Bangladesh's relations with China are limited to investment and development plans only.

Gauhar Rizvi said, "In this also Bangladesh takes care that there should not be such a situation that we should take so much loan that we cannot repay it." We have learned from Sri Lanka. "

On the NRC issue, Gauhar Rizvi said that this is an internal matter of India.

He said, "Why would we interfere in this matter or take it up in our bilateral relations? But we will take them back only when we are fully convinced, as is the normal way."
