BJP will win more than 200 seats in West Bengal and will also form government in Assam. In response to a question, Amit Shah said that BJP has formed committees at 85 percent of the booths in West Bengal and the party structure is very strong in the state. Amit Shah said that his party would win more than two hundred seats in the state.

In response to a question about Assam, he said that the alliance between Congress and Badardin Ajmal's party in the state will be the reason for his defeat.

Shah said that peace has been established in Assam in the last five years and more than 2,000 separatists have surrendered. Shah said that the tea garden workers in the state are standing firmly with the BJP.

He called Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi's Assam tours a 'picnic' and claimed that the BJP will form the government with an absolute majority in the state. On the question asked about Tamil Nadu Kerala and Puducherry, Shah said that the NDA will form the government in Tamil Nadu while BJP seats will increase in all three states.
