The most liked motorcycle stunt will not be seen this year in the parade on Rajpath in Republic Day celebrations on 26 January.
The Indian Express newspaper writes that motorcycle stunts have not been included to maintain social distancing this year due to the Corona epidemic, while for the first time the parade will include the tableau of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
In the year 2019, Jammu and Kashmir was divided into two parts and made into two union territories. In addition to Thiksey Math in Ladakh tableau, the Indian Astronomical Observatory will also be shown.
Due to Corona epidemic, a lot of changes have been made in the Republic Day Parade. This time there will be no motorcycle stunt, apart from this, 1.25 lakh people used to come to Rajpath every year to see this parade, whose number has been reduced to 25,000.
The march of brave children joining the parade has also not been included in this. With this, the number of military squads marching has also been reduced from 144 to 96.
This time there will be a total of 32 tableaux, out of which 17 will be from different states and union territories, nine from ministries and 6 from security forces. All these tableaux which used to go to the Red Fort earlier, this time they will only go to the National Stadium.
There will be a model of Ram temple being built in Ayodhya in the tableau of Uttar Pradesh. There will also be no chief guest during the parade for the first time in 55 years of history.
