New twist in Mukesh Ambani case, Hiren was not the owner of car

A new twist has come to light in the Scorpio car case, which was found with explosives outside the bungalow of industrialist Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai.

Mansukh Hiren who was thought to be the owner of this car, in fact he was not the owner of this car at all.

According to the English newspaper Indian Express , the car from outside Ambani's luxurious bungalow Antilia is actually owned by Sam Peter Newton, a resident of Thane, who was registered at the RTO office in Thane on 7 April 2007.

In his statement to Crime Branch before his death, Heiren had said that Newton was acquainted with him in 2016, Heeren owned a car decoration business in Thane and Newton had asked him to put some accessories in the car.

The newspaper writes that after the work of the car Newton gave two checks to Hiren for payment of 2.80 lakhs which had bounced. 

After this, on 6 April 2018, Hiren asked for money from Newton at a mall in Thane, but Newton expressed his inability to pay money, after which Hiren brought him to Naupada police station.

After this, Newton said to give money in 15 days and gave his car for use.

Hiren's wife Vimala has said that Hiren had given this car to Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Vazhe for use and the car was with Vaje from November 2020 till 5 February this year.

On 25 February, gelatin sticks were found in an SUV car found outside Mukesh Ambani's house and the car had a fake number plate and its chassis and engine number had been erased.

After this, the police had found the owner of this car by the name and number of the finance company on the glass of the vehicle.

Initially it was described as Mansukh Hiren's car and Hiren said that the car was stolen on February 17, after which Hiren died.
