Ground Report | New Delhi: NE SLET Registration Link; The registration process for the North East State Level Eligibility Test Commission Assam, NE SLET 2021, began on November 11, 2021. At 6 a.m., the registration link was activated. Candidates who want to apply online can do so at sletneonline.co.in, the SLET's official website. The deadline for applying for the exam is December 28, 2021. The last date for challan payment at the bank for all applications is December 31, 2021. Read below for eligibility, selection process, and other details. 

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have received at least 55 percent (without rounding off) in a Master's degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by the UGC to be eligible for this examination. Applicants who have taken or will take the final qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose results are still pending, as well as candidates whose qualifying examination has been postponed, are eligible to take this test.

Candidates belonging to general category will have to pay ₹1200/- as application fees, ₹1050/- for OBC and General (EWS) category, ₹1000/- for SC/ST category and ₹800/- for PWD category candidates. For more related details candidates can check the official site STET Assam.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

NE SLET Syllabus 2021-2022 should be downloaded by the candidates who are attempting the Assam State Eligibility Test.Assam SET Syllabus 2021-2022 is the recommended syllabus by SLET Commission Assam.

  • Paper I Exam Topics:- General subject, Intended to assess the Teaching/Research Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Comprehension, Divergent Thinking, and General Awareness of the candidate. (50 Questions- 100 Marks- 1 Hour)
  • Paper-II: PG qualified subject. (100 Questions- 200 Marks- 2 Hour)
  • No Negative Marking
  • In two sessions, Assam SET Exam will be held.
  • The duration of the first session is 1 Hour and the Second session is 2 Hours.
