Along with this, the Chief Minister also told that wherever permission was given to offer Namaz in the open in Gurgaon, it has been withdrawn.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal told reporters after the meeting of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority on Friday, "We have told the police and the district commissioner that this issue has to be resolved. Somebody adopts the method of worship, we have no problem with it. Religious places are built so that all these things are done in those places.

"Such an event should not be held in the open, the practice of offering prayers in the open will not be tolerated at all, but an amicable solution will be found by sitting together. They (Muslim organizations) have also said that we have many places where We have been given permission, or there will be some places which will belong to them or will be waqfs, which are encroached upon, they will be discussed.

During his statement, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also advised the Muslim community to 'offer Namaz at home and not encourage mutual discord by offering Namaz in the open'.

He told that 'this issue was also decided by sitting among themselves and permission for prayer was given at some places, which has been withdrawn and now the decision will be taken after fresh talks'.
