Ground Report | New Delhi: “Muslims are Hindus by nationality; Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has once again described every Indian citizen as ‘Hindu’. Bhagwat said on 6 September that Hindu-Muslim ‘descendants are the same.
During an address at an event of the Pune-based Global Strategy Policy Foundation, the RSS chief said that “sensible Muslim leaders should stand up against extremists”.”The word Hindu was equivalent to motherland, ancestor and Indian culture. It is not to disrespect the views of others. We should think of achieving Indian domination, not Muslim domination.”
“Muslims are Hindus by nationality
Mohan Bhagwat said that everyone should work together for the complete development of India. He needs to speak clearly against the fundamentalists. This work will require long hours of work and patience. It will be a long and difficult test for all of us. The sooner we start this, the less harm will be done to the society.”
RSS chief Bhagwat said that ‘Islam came to India with the invaders, this is history and should be said in this way. He said “Wise Muslim leaders should oppose unnecessary issues and stand firm against fundamentalists. The sooner we do this, the less harm will be done to the society.”
Bhagwat said that as a superpower, India will not intimidate anyone. “Every Indian is a Hindu. Hindus and Muslims share the same lineage,” Mohan Bhagwat said in a seminar organized under the name ‘Nation First, Nation Paramount’.
Congress always created fight
Mohan Bhagwat said that Congress always created a fight between Hindus and Muslims. The RSS chief said, “Because of this distrust, we kept moving away from each other. But everyone has to walk together to take the country forward.”RSS chief Bhagwat alleged that Congress has always worked to instigate both the communities against each other. He said, “Isolated Muslims by saying that the majority prevails in democracy and intimidated Hindus by giving examples of Muslims being fundamentalists.”
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and Kashmir Central University Chancellor Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd) were also present and addressed the event. Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd) said that after the 1971 war, Pakistan had made a big strategy to shed India’s blood, but the conspiracy was defeated by the government, army, police, and Kashmiri people.
