A case of alleged brutal assault on a child who came to Ghaziabad's Dasna Devi temple for drinking water has come to light. The event is on Friday evening.
A video related to this incident is going viral on social media. Acting on the basis of this viral video, the police have arrested the accused youth
It is learned that the victim's name is Shringi Nandan Yadav, resident of Bhagalpur in Bihar. Uttar Pradesh police have launched an investigation to find out exactly what happened.

In fact, a video of a child being beaten up for drinking water from the temple was revealed. It is being told that the young man accused of assault made a video of the assault himself with his companions and that video was also made viral on social media
After taking cognizance of this viral video on Friday night, the Ghaziabad police arrested the accused youth. The police have registered a case against the accused under assault, hostility and other sections.
The police has started further legal action in this case. The arrested accused is named Shringi Nandan Yadav. He is said to be an engineering graduate.

However, he quit his job some time ago and now he was staying in this temple. He says that he has no regrets over his actions.
Police issued a statement that the accused youth, Shringi Nandan Yadav, son Ashwani Kumar Yadav, resident of Gopalpur police station, Bhagalpur, Bihar, was arrested and taken further action after taking cognizance of the video.
"Taking immediate cognizance of the above video, the person who formed the team and beat him up - Shringi Nandan Yadav, son Ashwani Kumar Yadav, resident of Gopalpur Police Station, Bhagalpur, Bihar was arrested and the procedure related to case registration / legal action was made," reads the rough translation for the post by the UP Police

Several political leaders have also weighed in on the clip. "Ye kis Raamaayan, Geeta ya Ved ka gyaan hai? Ye kaun sa vasudhaiva kutumbakam?" asked AAP MP Sanjay Singh.
"So much for sabka saath, savka vishwas when Muslims are being beaten for drinking water’. BJP has incentivized hate and violence!" alleged Congress leader Salman Nizami.
