Monsoon still waiting for many states, some are suffering due to rain

Ground Report | New Delhi: Monsoon still waiting; The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the progress of Southwest Monsoon has weakened in the remaining parts of Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab. The IMD said that this is being seen largely due to the unfavorable conditions. The wind pattern for these areas is also not indicating favorable conditions for rainfall as per the forecasts made by the model.

A cyclonic circulation is occurring over Jharkhand and border areas, extending up to mid-tropospheric levels . It is likely to move around in the same area during the next two days. Due to its impact, heavy to very heavy rain and thundershowers are expected over most parts of East and adjoining Central India – Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and East Madhya Pradesh during the next 2 days. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Bihar during the next 24 hours.

Due to the strengthening of moisture-laden southwesterly winds, very heavy rains are likely over Northeast India during the next 5 days . Heavy to very heavy rainfall is forecast at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh during next 3 days and very heavy to very heavy falls over Assam & Meghalaya during the subsequent 2 days.\

How will be the weather today in the country

Very heavy rain is expected at different places in Chhattisgarh, Assam and Meghalaya. Torrential rains are very likely at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.

Strong winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kmph are expected in Delhi today. There is a possibility of rain in different parts of Delhi. Today Delhi's maximum temperature is expected to be 40 and minimum 29 degree Celsius and humidity is expected to be around 62 percent (Monsoon still waiting).

Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, West Rajasthan, isolated in Andaman and Nicobar islands -At isolated places in East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic coastal areas in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam Lightning, thundershower and gusty winds with speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph are very likely at isolated places.

On June 25 at 8:30 at some places of Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh Isolated rain with gusty winds occurred at isolated places over West Central Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal along Ganges Coast, at these places, similar weather activity is very likely during 5:30 hrs today.
