Ground Report | New Delhi: Minor girl alleges rape ; A 17-year-old girl in UP's Lalitpur district on Tuesday lodged a police complaint against 28 people, including her father and some Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) office-bearers, for raping her for the past several years.
Based on her complaint, the Lalitpur Police has registered an FIR under section 354 against 28 people including the girl's father, SP District President Tilak Yadav, SP Nagar President Rajesh Jain Jojia, BSP District President Deepak Ahirwar. (breach of politeness), 376-D (rape), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation), and other sections of the IPC and section 5/6 of the POCSO Act.
According to the complaint, the girl has alleged that when she was in class 6, her father lured her to have a physical relationship by showing her obscene movies, but she did not do so.
Later, her father bought her new clothes and took her for a ride on a motorbike on the pretext of teaching her to drive. He took her to a deserted field and raped her, warning her to keep quiet or he would kill her mother. (Minor girl alleges rape)
According to the FIR against the 28 accused, the girl, when she was in class 6, was forcibly shown a pgraphic video to her by her father, who later raped her in a field in Maheshpura.
Shortly after the incident, the father began regularly taking her to the inn, where she was gang-raped by several men.
"This is a very rare and sensitive case and we are taking it seriously. Medical examination of the victim has been done and her statement has also been recorded," Lalitpur Superintendent of Police told TOI.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Tilak Yadav, who is named in the FIR, said that a conspiracy was hatched against him. “If framed, I will commit suicide; This is a matter of martial dispute. I will submit a memorandum to the SP and the District Magistrate, demanding a fair investigation.
Soon after the complaint was registered, SP District President Tilak Yadav issued a statement on social media and refuted the allegations, saying that the case was an attempt to falsely implicate him and his brothers in the case.
