Manish Narwal, a 19-year-old shooter, who already has the world record, broke the Paralympic record to win gold in P4 Mixed 50m Pistol SH1.

Manish Narwal always wanted to become a footballer but a congenital ailment in his right hand meant he couldn’t pursue his passion. So he decided to take up shooting in 2016.
He was 15 years old, he was ranked 13th in the world at the age of just 16, and has been a consistently top performer since 2017.
Between 2016 and 2019, he pocketed a stunning 19 medals across different competitions. Some of his top achievements include winning gold at the 2018 Asian Para Games, three medals at the 2019 World Championships (Sydney).
He was bestowed with the Arjuna Award in August 2020.
