In this video, a man is threatening a shopkeeper to open a shop on Diwali. Taking cognizance of this video, Delhi Police has registered an FIR of the incident.

In this video, the threatening person is telling his name as Naresh Kumar Suryavanshi and is describing himself as a member of the Bajrang Dal. In the video, the accused introduces himself as Naresh Kumar Suryavanshi, a member of the right-wing group Bajrang Dal. Police said he is heard telling the shop staff that Sant Nagar is a Hindu area and threatening them to open the shop at any festival.

In the video, the accused can be heard abusing the shopkeeper and he said, "This is not Jama Masjid, Hindus live in this area. How can a Muslim open his shop?" He adds, "How did you open your shop on Diwali. Why didn't anyone stop you?"

"Hindus should wake up from their sleep. Your shop should be closed on all our festivals, otherwise, it will be set on fire. They do love jihad. They trap our sisters, daughters," the man continued to say in the video.

He warned the shopkeeper not to open the shop on any Hindu occasion and said, "Hindus are in deep sleep. Wake up Hindus, these people do love jihad." Naresh Kumar introduced himself and said that he had gone to buy flowers in the area.

After his threat, the shop owner and his employees immediately closed the shop. The video was recorded around 9 pm on Thursday, which later went viral on social media. The TOI quoted a senior official as saying that the Delhi Police has registered a case under section 295A at Burari police station for hurting and inciting religious sentiments. According to the officer, an investigation is on to identify the accused and arrest him.
