Ground Report | New Delhi: Mamata Banerjee announces; Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has now decided to celebrate Khela Hobe Day on Tuesday (July 6) to celebrate the Khela Hobe slogan, which became famous among the public during the assembly elections of West Bengal. This day will be celebrated to inspire the development of sports.

Mamata Banerjee said, “People have liked our slogan very much so we have decided to celebrate Khela Hobe Day. 50,000 footballs will be given to different football clubs of the state. The slogan is in Bengali and the word literally means ‘play will happen’.

At the same time, she said, ‘Khela Hobe. Ami goalkeeper. Dekhi ke jete meaning game is going on. I am a goalkeeper. Let’s see who wins.’ She announced in the Assembly that the government will celebrate Hobe Diwas played in the state. She said 50,000 footballs will also be given to different football clubs in the state. Mamata Banerjee’s reporters have been in high spirits since its announcement.

During the assembly elections, there was a tremendous tussle between BJP and Mamata’s TMC. BJP sent the bodies of all its ministers to Lashkar Bengal. It was claimed that this time the government will be formed by defeating Mamata Banerjee.
