Madhya Pradesh will experience relief from the cold wave. Moderate to dense fog is expected in specific regions over the next three days, but temperatures will rise starting Tuesday, providing respite to residents.

On Monday, thick fog blanketed several parts of the state, including Gwalior, Datia, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Satna, Maihar, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, and Singrauli. Visibility was significantly reduced, especially in Mauganj, where roads were deserted in the early hours.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a moderate to dense fog alert in Gwalior, Chambal, and Rewa divisions for three days. However, cold wave conditions are expected to ease from Tuesday.

Eastern Madhya Pradesh, including Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar, and Shahdol divisions, continue to record low night temperatures. Over the weekend, Kalyanpur in Shahdol was the coldest spot at 3.4°C, followed by Mandla at 4.3°C.
