Weather change due to western disturbance
The Meteorological Department reports Madhya Pradesh’s weather has changed due to a Western Disturbance and a Trough. High winds expected
The Meteorological Department predicts high wind speeds in Madhya Pradesh on March 20 and 21. Normally, winds blow at 10 to 12 km per hour, but during these days, the speed could increase to 30 to 50 km per hour.
The Meteorological Department warned that the heat will return by the end of March. In many cities, temperatures may exceed 40 degrees Celsius, leading to a heat wave. If the temperature is more than 4.6 degrees above normal, it’s classified as a heat wave.
April and May are expected to be the hottest months, with temperatures possibly exceeding 45 degrees in Gwalior, Chambal, Jabalpur, Rewa, Shahdol, and Sagar divisions. Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and Narmadapuram will also experience high temperatures.
In the coming weeks, weather will change from rain and storms to rising temperatures, so residents should stay updated on weather alerts.
