Singer Lata Mangeshkar in ICU after testing Covid-19 Positive

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday after she tested positive for COVID-19.

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday after she tested positive for COVID-19. She is currently undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital. She has mild symptoms, her niece confirmed to news agency ANI.

Doctors told that his health condition is stable. She is 92 years old so the family and the team of doctors have admitted her to the ICU ward room. Lata ji's residence is just 2.5 km from Paddar Roads TS Breach Candy Hospital.

According to Lata ji's niece, she had mild symptoms. But due to her old age, she was admitted to the hospital.

Born on September 28, 1929, Lata Mangeshkar was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and France's highest civilian award, Officer of the Legion of Honour, apart from several national and international awards. The singer was awarded Bharat Ratna, India's highest honor in 2001.
