Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the Sant Samaj that in view of the outbreak of Corona epidemic, the Kumbh Mela should now be kept symbolic.

They have given information about it by tweeting. He has written that “I spoke to the Peetadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandalleshwar Swami Awadheshanand Giri of Juna Arena today on the phone. I prayed to him that two royal baths have taken place and now Kumbh should be kept symbolic due to the crisis of Corona. This will give strength to the fight against this crisis."
