Niranjani Akhara has decided to get out of Kumbh. Mahamandaleshwar Kapil Dev Das of Nirvani Arena in Madhya Pradesh has died of Corona infection after attending the Kumbh. He was 65 years old.

A top official of the health department has told The Times of India that 68 top sadhus involved in Kumbh have been infected. Niranjani Arena is the second largest Naga Saints Arena after Juna Arena. Akhara has said that the Kumbh has ended for him after the royal bath.

According to the fair administration, a total of 332 people have been found infected on Thursday. The fair administration does not have data on the total deaths due to corona infection.

According to the administration, 79301 people have been tested since April 12, out of which 745 have been found infected.

Mahant Ravindra Puri, secretary of Niranjani Akhara, has said that Kovid-like symptoms are appearing in most of the sadhus and devotees in his camp in Haridwar.

In view of this, the saints have decided to conclude the fair from 17 April. The Kumbh Mela is officially to end on April 30. The next royal bath is on 27 April.
