Somehow, the most popular thing on the internet is the Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. And, even in that Maheep Kapoor’s latest comments on getting a gold necklace. No, no. Don’t get me wrong. Buying a gold necklace is the least desire some flamboyantly rich people can have. It is the eccentricity of how she wants it.
She wanted to make a necklace of her children's milk teeth, dipped in gold. And, now I am just stunned.
Ultra-rich people are their own variety. But, everyone on the internet is too. Since, season two of the series has dropped, netizens can’t get enough. Take for example me, I haven’t seen the show, but I have googled her. Just like me, many have.
And, that consistent curiosity has made her, one of the most-searched women on the internet currently. Maheep Kapoor. Eccentricity makes everyone curious. Doesn’t it?

Who is Maheep Kapoor?
Maheep Kapoor is the wife of Sanjay Kapoor, who is the brother of Anil Kapoor. Sanjay Kapoor has had his attempts in Bollywood too.
She is jeweler designer, and runs a shop called 'Bandra 190'. The shop is the run in collaboration with Sussanne Roshan, Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan.

Interestingly, according to the Internet, Maheep was born in 1982 and got married in 1997 to Sanjay Kapoor. So, that makes her age 15 at the time of marriage. I mean, I like to believe that information is incorrect, but still something to ponder about.
Although she did mention that Sanjay Kapoor cheated on her.

What is the show about?
Produced by Dramatic Productions, the digital wing of Dharma Productions. The show follows the lives of the wives of Bollywood celebrities, who themselves are celebrities. The camera then lingers in and around their personal lives and conversations. The four wives are Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan, Neelam Kothari, and Bhavana Pandey. The reveals some secrets from their personal lives, and 'gossips'. Even Karan Johar, accepts that this show is 'cringe'. The show is so over the top, that sometimes feels like a satire. I wish it was. But, it is trash tv at its best!
Beyond these Bollywood wives, we have a lot of other celebrities too. Like, in season 1, the highlight was Gauri Khan hosting these women. To the delight of some fans, Shahrukh Khan was also seen in this episode. Ranveer Singh can be seen getting a foot massage in this season.
The two seasons of the show are streaming on Netflix, and have an IMDB rating of less than 5. Not bad, I guess.
When your personal life can be sold as content, that is when you’re a celebrity.
The show establishes a fact of individual’s obsession with the ‘fabulous’ life of celebrities and the voyeuristic nature of desires.
