Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar has once again targeted actress Kangana Ranaut after joining the Shiv Sena. Urmila has said that Kangana Ranaut was given 'undue importance'.

The war of words between the BJP and Shiv Sena intensified when Kangana compared Mumbai to Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

He had also made these statements at the time of the statements made in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. There has been a lot of verbal war between Kangana and Urmila.

At that time, Urmila took a dig at Kangana and said, "The whole country is facing the curse of drugs. Does he (Kangana) not know that drugs are produced in Himachal itself. He should start cleaning it from his home."

Urmila said during her first reaction after joining to the Shiv Sena, "In the earlier interviews, most of the questions I have been asked about Kangana. I feel that Kangana has been given so much importance unnecessarily. I don't think she has More importance should be given."

Urmila has also confirmed that her name has been extended to the membership of the Legislative Council.

Earlier, reports were reported from Shiv Sena sources that Urmila Matondkar's name has been extended to the membership of the Legislative Council from Governor Kota.

Urmila confirmed this, saying, "I have been told that my name has been sent to the Governor for the Legislative Council. I want to work on the issue of women in my political life."

When he was asked to resign from the Congress, he said that I had left the party, not public service.

Urmila, left the Congress in September 2019. She was in the Congress for only five months.

He contested the Lok Sabha elections from North Mumbai on a Congress ticket. She lost this election at the hands of BJP's Gopal Shetty.

Talking about joining Shiv Sena, Urmila said, "I am very impressed with the leadership and work of Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray, so I decided to join Shiv Sena. Uddhav Thackeray himself called me before joining the party."

He said that the women's wing of Shiv Sena is already strong and I will be happy to work with them
