About the government policy to stop the ceasefire violation, the Defence Minister said that the steps are taken and the weapons used can't be disclosed but under the cover of ceasefire violation Pakistan pushes militants into Indian territory.

"Ceasefire is also used to exfiltrate the militants from Indian territory into Pakistan and the graph of the ceasefire has shown a surge," he said.

Singh said that whenever peace prevails in the Kashmir valley the ceasefire violation from Pakistan also shows an increase, however, the security forces are giving befitting replies.

"Anyone who will be able to answer the amount of retaliation from India will be the rulers in Pakistan," he said.

Senior leader and former chief minister of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Azad, in the question hour, said that why is the graph of ceasefire violation this high and in the UPA government only 550 ceasefire instances took place in a decade.

About the bunkers for the civilian population living close to the fence, the Defence Minister said that a total of 14,000 bunkers were bring built and a maximum has been completed to facilitate and save the civilian population.

He said that the government is timely providing assistance to the victims and in case of animal loss, the same policy is adopted and people moved to safer places at the time of ceasefire violation.

He maintained that the ceasefire violations have shown a surge in the past one decade since 2011 and it's only because Pakistan wants some untoward to happen in Jammu and Kashmir, like Uri, Jammu, Nagrota, Pathankot, and Pulwama.

"Whenever anything happens here Pakistan increased the volume of ceasefire violation," he said.
