Once again, Unnao was named in everyone's tongue, according to a report of the Hindustan Times, 51 rape cases were registered in Unnao in 11 months, although the report also said that 70% of the cases from local pressure and police action were from women.

In the report of 2019, the police had informed that between January and November 185 cases of stalling and attempted rape were registered in Unnao. During the last two years, 24 minors have been raped in the district.

Once again, Unnao is in the news. This time, three girls from Baburaha village went to the farm to get fodder for the cattle on Wednesday afternoon, but when they did not return till late evening, they were searched. When all three women were found unconscious in the village farm, they were rushed to the hospital.

Sureshrao Kulkarni, Superintendent of Police, Unnao, said, “This is a case of Asoha police station area. Three girls were found unconscious in their own farm, and all three had their hands tied. He was sent to the hospital where two young girls have died. One is undergoing treatment."

Vishal, the brother of two real sisters of the three, told local journalist Ravi of Kanpur, "The three girls went to seek fodder. When they did not return home, when they went to find them, all three were found tied to clothes in an unconscious state Were. Two of the three are my sisters and one is the daughter of an uncle. We had no enmity with anyone.

The police is investigating under what circumstances the girls have consumed poisonous substances or have been poisoned by someone.

According to Superintendent of Police, Kulkarni, every aspect is being investigated. Immediately after the incident, several officers including DM and SP of Unnao reached the occasion. A large number of police have been deployed in the village.
