Prime Minister Modi has surpassed world leaders such as the Mexican Andrés Manuel López Obrador (66 percent); the Italian Mario Draghi (60 percent); Japan's Fumio Kishida (48 percent); Olaf Scholz from Germany (44 percent); Justin Trudeau of Canada (43 percent); the American Joe Biden (43 percent); Australia's Scott Morrison (41 percent); and the Spanish Pedro Sánchez (40 percent).

The leaders with the lowest public approval ratings are Moon Jae-in of South Korea (38 percent); Jair Bolsonaro from Brazil (37 percent); Emmanuel Macron of France (34 percent); and Britain's Boris Johnson (26 percent). The company also posted disapproving ratings from world leaders, with the UK Prime Minister taking the top spot.

Mood of the Nation

A survey conducted by India Today, titled 'Mood of the Nation', also claims that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular political leader in India. This report was also published on Friday, January 21.
