INTRODUCING VANA 3

Get introduced to Vana or return for a quick recharge at Vana, a Wellness Retreat in Dehradun.

22nd Dec 2020, New Delhi: Vana introduces its latest offering - ‘Vana 3’. Three days of wellness journey that offers an introduction to Vana or allows a guest to return for a quick recharge.

The journey offers ‘quick recharge’ or a boost of revitalisation to cope with the stressful lives that individuals have had to lead this year.

2020 has been largely difficult for almost everyone, with being confined to their homes for most of the year. The pandemic has left people exhausted and fatigued, having to juggle work and home chores simultaneously. While the physical toll has been high, the year has had a bigger effect on the mental and emotional health of individuals.

Vana is fortunate to be in India where wisdom, wellness, nutrition, and cuisine is seen interdependently. Its wellness offering, therefore, is based on Ayurveda, Yoga and Sowa Rigpa. Ayurveda exists in its authenticity at Vana. Yoga manifests in its true nature, as a practice and philosophy, indifferent to how it is understood outside India. While Sowa Rigpa (Tibetan Medicine) is a unique feature that exists, unlike anywhere else. Vanavasis (guests) usually find tangible and measurable improvement not only in their physical health at Vana but also in their overall wellbeing.

Talking about Vana 3, Jaspreet Singh, Executive Director at Vana Dehradun, said “Vana has always aimed to make Vanavasis experience wellbeing from all aspects. Starting from Ayurveda to Yoga to mindful eating; the team at Vana has always emphasized the relevance of leading a disciplined way of life. We ensure that the wellness quotient remains with the Vanavasis even after their retreat in the outer world. Not only this, but we also ensure that we work in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner.”

Longer retreats at Vana have brought about in-depth transformations and proven life-changing in the growing community of Vanavasis. As these may not be feasible in the current scenario, Vana 3 strives to bring about a similar sense of rejuvenation in the Vanavasis who opt for three nights of retreat. Vana 3 also aims to introduce new Vanavasis to the philosophy and wisdom of Vana and embark on the journey of wellness as a resolution into the New Year.
