It was nominated in the Unstructured Reality Program category. Indian Matchmaking stars Sima Taparia, a real-life matchmaker from Mumbai who finds matches for Indian families across the globe.

The show has been nominated in the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program category. This show has been nominated with many web shows like Below Dec, Sailing Sunset, RuPaul Drag Race. The Emmy Awards are scheduled to premiere on 19 September 2021.

The Indian Matchmaking Show premiered on 16 July 2020. It is an 8-episode series produced by Smriti Mundhra. Mumbai's marriage matchmaker Seema Taparia has been seen in this TV series who helps single boys and girls to find their perfect partners. The show was presented as half reality and half documentary.
In which eight clients were shown, for whom Seema was seen looking for a relationship. She used to do matchmaking after getting to know the opinion of the parents of the boy and the girl and other people about them. The show got mixed reviews. Some people gave it positive reviews and some trolled badly.
