According to the newspaper Nawa-e-Waqt, a spokesman of the Pakistan Army has said that there has been a separate flag meeting at the level of brigade commanders of India and Pakistan at Poonch crossing point.

In this meeting, it was reviewed whether the line of control (LoC) is being implemented at the fixed points. Earlier, the DGMO of the two countries had a discussion on the hotline between the DGMOs last month, in which it was decided to stop firing on the LoC from both sides.

Regarding this meeting, Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar said, "Everyone wants peace. The first step is to keep firing off. There will be no new defensive construction on the LoC within five hundred meters nor will any post Will be targeted directly."

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), a group of 11 opposition parties, including the Muslim League (Nawaz) and Pakistan Peoples Party, has been a source of trouble for Imran Khan's government for the past several months.

There have been many big rallies against Imran Khan in many cities of Pakistan under the banner of PDM in which thousands of people attended. However, the government always said that PDM is a mean alliance and the Muslim League and PPP can never work together for long.

The opposition coalition has been rejecting these statements of the government till now, but this time the differences in PDM have started to become clear and the reason is that former Prime Minister and senior PPP leader Yusuf Raza Gilani has become the Leader of Opposition in the Senate.
