Tension between India and China, soldiers injured in fresh face-off in Sikkim

Indian and Chinese soldiers got into a face-off on Saturday in North Sikkim, which included aggression resulting in injuries to both sides. The troops disengaged after local level interaction and dialogue, media reports said.

According to reports, during the confrontation between the soldiers of India and China in North Sikkim area, there was fierce debate on both sides. The soldiers on both sides have also suffered minor injuries in this incident. However, it was later put to sleep after the intervention of the authorities. Such tension on the border was seen after a long time.

The incident occurred in Naku La Sector Mansionwar Kohui ahead of Muguthang. This area is at an altitude of 5 thousand meters. One officer said that 4 Indian and 7 Chinese soldiers were hurt.

About 150 soldiers from both countries were involved in the skirmish. On the other hand, the army says, "Temporary and sporadic skirmishes between Indian and Chinese soldiers continue on the border dispute." However, this time the clash took place after a long time. Both forces resolve the issue under protocol.

This episode also comes at a time tensions between India and China's 'all-weather ally,' Pakistan, have flared up yet again, this time on the issue of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) including in its weather forecast, that of both Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Gilgit-Baltistan.
