India-China Border Tension: As all of you know in recent clashed between India and China in which at least 20 Indian soldiers have been killed in a violent face-off in Galwan Valley of Ladakh. China army clash without revision of agreement done between India and China. India and China already have 5 treaties between them to address border disputes like current tension along LOC in ladakh. Agreements with China in past: Here are the details

Treaties are as follows:

(1) 1993 agreement of of maintenance of peace and transquality alone LAC.

This agreement provides the framework for border security between the parties until final determination is made regarding border demarcation. The parties agree to reduce troop levels compatible with friendly and good relations between them. They also agree to undertake confidence building measures along the line of actual control including by providing notification of troop movements.

(2) 1996 agreement of confidence building measures in military field along LAC.

It was aimed at avoiding a full scale war erupting between India and China by reducing use of weaponry an aggression at the border. The Article I of the agreement says that “neither side shall use its military capability against the other side. No armed forces deployed by either side in the border areas along the line of actual control.”

Article III of the agreement says that both sides will reduce or limit combat tanks, infantry combat vehicles, guns (including howitzers) with 75 mm or bigger calibre, mortars with 120 mm or bigger calibre, surface-to-surface missiles, surface-to-air missiles and any other weapon system mutually agreed upon along the LAC.

Article VI says that neither side can open fire guns or use explosives within two kilometres of the LAC. This means that both sides have agreed to not use weapons within the two kilometres of the LAC on both sides.

(3) 2005 protocol on modalities of confidence building measure in military field along LAC.

this agreement was signed when Manmohan Singh led UPA-I govt was in power, and this agreement had reiterated the commitment of both the nations to abide by and implement the 1993 and 1996 agreements.

(4) 2012 agreement on establishment of working mechanism for consultation and coordination on India China border affair.

Firmly believing that respecting and abiding by the Line of Actual Control pending a resolution of the Boundary Question between the two countries as well as maintaining and strengthening peace and tranquility in the India-China border areas is very significant for enhancing mutual trust and security between the two countries, for resolving the Boundary Question at an early date and for building the India-China Strategic and Cooperative Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in a statement MHA said in 2012.

Aiming for timely communication of information on the border situation, for appropriately handling border incidents, for earnestly undertaking other cooperation activities in the India-China border areas, have agreed as follows:

The Working Mechanism that time was headed by a Joint Secretary level official from the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India and a Director General level official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and will be composed of diplomatic and military officials of the two sides.

(5) 2013 border defence cooperation agreement.

The Border Defence Cooperation Agreement is to avoid border tensions and army face-offs along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) by deciding that neither side will use military capability to attack the other side nor tail patrols along the border. As already these treaties were there is still there was a clash between both the army and result in loss of life of army soldier of both the side.

Experts claim that reason that border issue continue to remerge between India and China is because the claim line has not been explicitly demarcated. China version of clean line is different from India's version of LAC. China had killed our army soldiers with iron rod of nails glass etc that cause high injury and lead to death.

Is this justice still after treaties between countries? What would you say?
