Ground Report | New Delhi: In Kashmir 11 govt employees; On Saturday, the Jammu and Kashmir administration took major action against the government employees helping militants. The administration dismissed 11 employees simultaneously. These include two sons of Syed Salahuddin, the founder of militant organization Hizbul Mujahideen.

2 sons of Salahuddin sacked

Syed Salahuddin is a resident of Kashmir, but at present, he is living in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He is also the head of the United Jihad Council. This organization has been formed jointly by Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Salahuddin's son, who was involved in terror funding, in the fourth meeting recommended the sacking of 8 employees, 2 are constables. While in the department, he used to provide information as well as logistics to the terrorists. Sources said that Constable Abdul Rashid Shigan was also involved in the attack on the security forces.

Most wanted terrorists Syed Salahuddin's sons Syed Ahmed Shakeel and Shahid Yusuf were involved in the terror funding. The NIA had an eye on both. They were found to be involved in raising and transferring money through hawala for Hizbul Mujahideen.

Shahid Yusuf, 45, was arrested by the NIA in 2017 in the custody of NIA, both the sons of Hizbul chief. He used to work in the Agriculture Department. The NIA had alleged that Shahid used to receive funds from absconding accused Ejaz Ahmed Bhat through international wire money transfer. Shahid Bhat had contacts with many people in India, one of them was Shahid Yusuf. He was given a code to transfer money through the phone.

Salahuddin's second son Syed Shakeel Yusuf was arrested in 2018. Then the team of NIA, CRPF and Jammu, and Kashmir Police raided his house in Srinagar. He was a lab technician in a government hospital in Srinagar. He is accused of taking money from his father in the 2011 terror funding case. NIA claims that money was transferred from Pakistan to Jammu and Kashmir. This fund was used for terrorism and separatist activities.

Used to give inside information to the militants, 4 of the sacked employees are from Anantnag, 3 from Budgam, 1-1 from Baramulla, Srinagar, Pulwama, and Kupwara. Of these, 4 are from Education Department, 2 Police Constable, Agriculture, Skill Development, Electricity, SKIMS, and one employee each from Health Department. According to officials, these people were giving inside information to the terrorists.

Sources said that the committee formed to investigate the matters related to administration in Jammu and Kashmir had recommended the sacking of 3 employees in its second meeting and 8 employees in the fourth meeting. These recommendations were made in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.

Another government employee linked to terrorism is Naaz Muhammad Allaie, a helper of Hizbul, an employee of the Health Department. He is the orderly in the health department. He is an overground worker of Hizbul Mujahideen and has been directly involved in terrorist activities, he had given shelter to two big militants in his house.

Two teachers supporting separatist organizations Dukhtaran-e-Millat

In addition, two teachers from the Anantnag district were found involved in anti-national activities including supporting and propagating the ideology of separatist organizations Jamaat-Islami and Dukhtaran-e-Millat.

An Inspector of Electricity Department used to smuggle arms, Shaheen Ahmed Lone, an Inspector of Electricity Department used to smuggle and transport arms for Hizbul Mujahideen. Sources said that he was involved in carrying arms, ammunition, and explosives along with two terrorists on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in January last year.

At the same time, two Education Department employees Jabbar Ahmad Paray and Nisar Ahmad Tantray were terminated due to their involvement in the Pakistan-sponsored separatist agenda, both are associated with Jamaat-e-Islami.
