Ground Report | New Delhi: Imran Khan's party PTI; Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party is going to form a government in Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir. According to unofficial results of 45 general seats in the Legislative Assembly, PTI has won in 25 constituencies. Opposition Pakistan Peoples Party has won 11 seats and PML-N has won six seats. The Muslim Conference and the Jammu and Kashmir People's Party won one seat each.

According to the results released by the Election Commission, PTI came first with 25 seats, PPP came second with 11 seats and the ruling Muslim League-N came third with six seats.

No independent candidate has won in these elections, while the PTI's prospective allies, the Muslim Conference and the Jammu and Kashmir People's Party, have won one seat each. Out of 11 women candidates running in the elections, only one candidate has won.

The successful candidate Shahida Saghir belongs to PTI who was nominated after the accidental death of her husband Saghir Chughtai. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has won a landslide victory over Kashmiri refugee seats in Pakistan, where nine of the 12 seats went to the PTI. The PML-N won two of the seats and the PPP won only one seat.

PTI supporters are celebrating on social media after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gained a clear lead in the Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir elections. The hashtag 'Kashmir Election 2021' is currently at the top of the list of top trends on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Victory is being celebrated by TI supporters.
